Challenge

The project required access to lighting fixtures located along ceiling trusses, but most of the lights could not be reached directly by a lift. The largest snorkel lift that could fit through the building’s doors provided limited access, creating an additional challenge in reaching the remaining fixtures.

Rope Guy Solution

The Rope Guy team used the largest snorkel lift that could fit through the building’s doors to reach the ceiling trusses. From there, the team climbed and traversed the trusses to access lighting fixtures that could not be reached directly by the lift.

Results

By combining lift access with specialized climbing techniques, the team was able to reach lighting fixtures beyond the direct range of the available equipment. This approach provided efficient access to difficult-to-reach lights without requiring larger equipment or alternative access methods that could not enter the building.
