Challenge

The building’s main entrance featured a framed glass wall angled at approximately 75 degrees. The entrance doors were not large enough to accommodate a lift capable of reaching the elevated lights, making conventional access equipment impractical.

Rope Guy Solution

The Rope Guy team used specialized clamps and slings to ascend the structural beams supporting the angled glass wall. Although the climbing route was straightforward, the steep angle made the work physically demanding.

Results

The team was able to safely access the elevated lighting without requiring a lift that could not fit through the building’s entrance. The specialized climbing approach provided an effective solution for reaching the difficult-to-access work area.
