Challenge

This project required access to a 45-degree glass ceiling supported by large, round structural beams. The shape and positioning of the beams made climbing and maneuvering around them particularly challenging.

Rope Guy Solution

The Rope Guy team used specialized climbing and access techniques to navigate the large, round beams and reach the difficult-to-access work areas along the angled glass ceiling.

The work was completed overnight, and the facility’s Pink Floyd exhibit remained on during the night maintenance shifts, providing an unusual soundtrack for the project over several nights.

Results

Rope Guy successfully accessed and worked around the challenging structural beams, providing a solution for a work area that would have been difficult to reach using conventional access methods. The project demonstrates the team’s ability to adapt its climbing techniques to unusual architectural structures and complex access challenges.
